Golf tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel Co.

— Join the excitement and your chance to win one million dollars at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County’s (BGCAA) annual golf tournament. The 20th Annual Adrian L. Merton Tee It Up For Education Golf Tournament, presented by The Brick Companies, is scheduled for Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Club at South River. The tournament will help provide continued support for Anne Arundel County youth who are being served by BGCAA. This tournament is a community favorite with foursomes and sponsorships historically selling out, so an early commitment is highly encouraged.

Reggie Broddie, Chief Professional Officer of BGCAA is looking forward to another great year on the course. “In this our 20th year of the Golf Classic, we are delighted to have so much support from the community including our partners Adrian L. Merton Inc. and The Brick Companies,” Broddie said.

Sponsorships will fund Boys & Girls Club programs which are critical to enabling youth realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The scramble tournament will kick-off with a putting contest at 9:30 a.m. and includes 18-holes of golf, breakfast, lunch on the course, and snacks and beverages throughout the day. It will feature a post-tournament awards dinner with numerous raffles, prizes, and a delicious dinner.

Special contests round out the day with the chance to win a 7 night cruise for two from Baltimore courtesy of CruiseOne/The Pollin Group LLC, a chance to take a shot for million dollars, or win a Lexus with a hole-in-one on a par three, or a Honda filled with golf merchandise.
