Hello my dear friends and fans of “Rambling Rose,” I want to thank you for calling to check up on me. I am feeling so much better after spending a day in the Emergency Room of St. Agnes Hospital where I saw a GI Specialist and had a procedure done to find out what in the hell was causing so much pain in my stomach!

Well, they found out I have a “Deep Cradle Ulcer,” which right now is being treated with three different medications and I am now feeling pretty damn good!

So I just want to thank all of you for your concern and love. It means a lot to me. I have faith, and I know God is taking good care of me with my husband “Shorty” as his backup. I love you all, keep praying for me.

Now I am ready to PARTIE!

Joe Chambers & M’Boom Re-Percussion with Moving Pictures Orchestra is appearing at the Kennedy Center Jazz Series Concert on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Now, a few of you might be saying, “Who in the hell is M’Boom?!” Well, M’Boom was the brainchild of Max Roach, the late percussionist and visionary, and one of the seminal innovators of modern jazz. In 1970, Roach gathered six notable drummers, percussionists to explore and compose for the myriad instruments in the percussion family and named the group “M’Boom.” comes from the mythology of the people of Kuba (now the Democratic Republic of Congo), and can also be found in regions of eastern Nigeria.
