Officer Childres of the McDonough Police Department made quite an impression on a group of young boys Friday when he passed by their backyard football game and decided to run a few plays. Members of the 8U Red Falcons football team from Locust Grove proved too much for the officer to handle, however, and he called for backup. Officer Harris later arrived to join in the fun. It was one game the Red Falcons won’t soon forget. One parent thanked both Childres, pictured here, and Harris for “being such a positive example.”
