$1 from all Large Iced Coffee sales on June 15 and 16 will be donated to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center

Dunkin’ Donuts of the greater Baltimore region today announced that it will host a two-day Iced Coffee Day fundraiser on Thursday, June 15 and Friday, June 16 to benefit Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.

Beginning Thursday, June 15 through Friday, June 16, $1 from all Large Iced Coffees sold at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the greater Baltimore-area will be donated to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. Donations will help support the hospital’s mission to provide patient- and family-centered health care in a diverse and inclusive environment, be a leader in innovative research that leads to prevention and effective treatment of childhood diseases, and to train the next generation of leaders in pediatric medicine.

“We are so grateful to partners like Dunkin’ Donuts that generously donate their time and funds to help our pediatric patients and their families,” said Cynthia Palacz, Senior Associate Director of Development, Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. “It’s programs like the Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee Day fundraiser that truly make an impact in the lives of our patients and offset a number of other costs for families at the hospital to allow our patients to get the care that they need and focus on getting well.”

Dunkin’ Donuts of greater Baltimore hosted its first Iced Coffee Day fundraiser benefitting Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in 2016. The one-day event raised over $11,000 for the children’s hospital.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Johns Hopkins and extend our Iced Coffee Day fundraiser as a two-day event,” said Colleen Krygiel, Field Marketing Manager, Dunkin’ Brands. “Our local Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees are always looking for ways to further impact the local communities they serve, so extending our Iced Coffee Day program was a natural fit. Every dollar between June 15 and 16 counts and we look forward to helping improve the lives of children and families in the Baltimore community.”
