Baltimore, MD —- The Priceless Gown Project returns to Baltimore for the 13th year to continue granting prom dreams for area high school Junior and Senior girls on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 9am to 2pm at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards: 110 South Eutaw Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. The Priceless Gown Project is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in Baltimore, MD in an effort to help young women attend their prom who would not ordinarily be able to finance the experience on their own.

The Priceless Gown Project provides free prom dresses for hundreds of students in the MD and DC areas. Admission to the event is free and a first come – first serve basis. Early arrival is suggested due to the limited quantity and sizes. The event takes place during Women’s History Month and the theme for this year’s event is “Health, Wellness and Fitness” where each young woman is encouraged to recognize the power, intellect and beauty within themselves to overcome obstacles, resolve issues and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The Priceless Gown Project is a unique shopping experience where students will have time to review a large inventory of new and gently used gowns, as well as try on gowns in the dressing room area and depart with the gown of their choice for absolutely no cost. Local MD and DC high school Juniors and Seniors with proof of current school enrollment are eligible to attend the Priceless Gown Project Boutique. Students must present a valid school ID card, a letter from their principal or guidance counselor, or current report card to prove current enrollment in high school. The Priceless Gown Project currently relies on the honesty of the students to verify financial need. “The Priceless Gown Project is phenomenal. They really helped me find an amazing gown to wear” says a student who attended the free boutique. The Priceless Gown Project event also involves several fun activities and the participation of many Volunteers including area Pageant Queens, guest speakers and entertainers. A team of experienced Makeup Artists (Glam Gurus) will provide outreach services of beauty, skincare, and self-esteem along

with complimentary makeup demos of eyes and lips for the girls to enjoy after they choose their prom attire.

Inspirational and empowering information will be presented by Comedienne and Actress Queen Aishah (Emcee); Dr. Monifa Jackson, Psychotherapist; Franchon Crews, Female Lightweight Boxer; STAR, R&B Singer; Shay Sharpe, CEO of Shay Sharpe’s Pink Wishes and more. The hottest and mainstream music will be played by the awesome and talented DJ Beauty and the Beatz.
