BALTIMORE — Muse 360 Arts is hosting a unique and free full-day conference called, UNHIDDEN FIGURES. The Conference, which falls under Muse 360 Arts’ Spark of Genius (SOG) programming will be centered on innovation, entrepreneurship and cultivating future leaders.
SOG features interactive workshops, engaging speakers, mentor-mentee networking and an opportunity to sharpen skills in various areas of leadership. This combination of activities helps students to develop new skills while also energizing their entrepreneurial spirit, immersing them in a community of like-minded peers and forging lifelong connections.
The free event will take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 8am-4pm at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center on 847 N. Howard St. Baltimore, MD 21201. The event is designed for girls ages 10-18 and will feature breakfast, welcome & ice breaker, breakout session 1 (SEEK), breakout session 2 (PURSUE), lunch & networking, break out session 3 (BECOME), FYI: For Your Inspiration- mentor/mentee sessions, and wrap up & closing. The event will be attended by 100 girls from all over Baltimore City, 15 facilitators and 50 hosts/mentors from backgrounds in leadership, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. Spark of Genius: Youth Entrepreneur Program creates a pathway to inform, connect and inspire our youth participants to pursue entrepreneurship creatively. Our goal is to teach the necessary professional skills to transform aspirations and values into a creative practice that will serve as the foundation for a rewarding career!
