BALTIMORE — The Singing Sensations Youth Choir will present “One Sound, One Season, One Savior,” on Sunday, December 18, 2016. The Christmas concert will be held at FCF World Outreach located at 9306 Winands Road in Owings Mills, MD. Dr. Hollie Hood-Mincey is the Founder and Director of the Choir, which is comprised of student ranging from ages five to 18-years-of-age.
“This is our annual scholarship fund event to raise money for our children who are going to college,” said Dr. Hood-Mincey. “When people come to this concert, they can expect to see approximately 80 to 90 children performing and singing a variety of music genres. This will include classical, traditional, and gospel music. The children will also be performing duets, dancing, and playing a wide variety of instruments including the cello.”
She added, “People can expect to see an unforgettable concert featuring little people with phenomenal voices beyond their years.”
The Sing Sensations Youth Choir was founded with the expectation of exposing youth in the Baltimore Metropolitan area to the diverse and multifaceted aspects of the performing arts.
Howard “Buddy” Lakins, serves as Director of Music, while Patrick Brown is Assistant Director.
“They are absolutely amazing,” said Lakins. “I have been working with them for the past 14 years and we have been all over the world. They sing all genres of music, and they do it all well.”

Dr. Hood-Mincey is marvelous with these children, who come from all walks of life. They sing sensational, look sensation, and minister to your mind, soul and heart. They are my favorite choir.
