— Hello my good friends, fans and followers, I don’t have much to say here because my photos and cutlines say it all. As you can see I have given you a variety of places to check out this week and next weekend. These are our local musicians— gospel, jazz and R&B many of them including our gospel entertainers live in Baltimore. It is very important that we keep music in our lives and in our hearts, so I am asking you to pick and choose your favorite group or singers and support them. Even if you have never heard of the group, believe me, if I write about them in my column, it’s definitely worth checking them out!

Here is another one; “Your Girl Cheryl” (Cheryl Goodman) is hosting a benefit concert for Improved Mental Health with Award Winning Jazz Ensemble, “Otherworld” on Friday, November 11, 7 p.m. at the Clubhouse, Forest Park Golf Course at 2900 Hillsdale Road in Baltimore. The evening also includes light fare, silent auction and a cash bar. For more information, call 410-370-8994.

Last, but not least, I am being honored by the Awarding Winning Maryland based Organization, “Piano For Youth Foundation” in Brooklyn, New York, on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 3 p.m. My Boo-Boo and I will be hitting the road early Sunday morning. I wish you all could come. I do have nine tickets left. Other honorees include: Dr. Eddie Ade Knowles (former VP at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Cecelia Calloway (Co-founder of the Cab Calloway Foundation and daughter of Icon Cab Calloway); Julius Hollingsworth (Broadway veteran, Master Actor and Teacher); Donna Walker-Kuhne (affiliate of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Founder and President of Walker International Communications); Dr. Janet Rutledge (University of Maryland) and Weller R. Thomas (Publisher & Owner of Pathfinders Travel Magazine. I have no idea how they found me and included me with all these “Titled People,” many of whom I have never heard of, but I am grateful and honored.
