— Kevin Hart is taking his plan for domination to the music charts.

The comedic actor has for years been making funny rap music videos as his alter ego, Chocolate Droppa. Now Hart has been signed by Motown, Billboard reports.

Hart recorded a video as Droppa in front of the Capitol Records building in Los Angeles (Motown is theirs) and posted it on Instagram to hail his coming project.

“Coming back to take what’s mine,” he rapped. “Drake, Future, Jay Z, 2 Chainz, I’m about to smack all y’all on the behind.”

Hart, who has long expressed his desire to rule Hollywood, is far from the first actor to try to make his mark in the rap game.

Here are a few other actors who have turned rappers — with varying degrees of success.

Drake

Aubrey Drake Graham was spitting dialogue as an actor before he started spitting bars on albums.

Drake was beloved as the wheelchair-bound Jimmy Brooks on “Degrassi: The Next Generation.” But the Canadian has blown up so much bigger as a musical artist.

Donald Glover

Glover has a strong fan base for his rap persona, Childish Gambino.

The “Community” star is melding his two loves this fall with his new FX series.

Glover created and stars in “Atlanta,” about cousins trying to break into rap.

“Atlanta” premieres on September 6.

Nick Cannon

Cannon was a teen star on Nickelodeon’s “All That” before he found fame acting in movies and hosting shows like “America’s Got Talent.”

He raps too and in 2003 released his debut self-titled album. His single “Gigolo” ft. R. Kelly was in the Top 10 in Rap and the top 30 in the Hot 100 charts.

He has also shown off his skills on his MTV improv show “Wild ‘N Out.”
