(ANNAPOLIS) — The Banneker-Douglass Museum, Maryland’s official repository of African American heritage launches the BDM Selfie Studio on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Visitors can take selfies with a few special props including photos enlargements of Frederick Douglass and Harriet Ross Tubman, along with a couple of social media cut outs. Visitors are encouraged to post their pictures on social media using #BDMSelfieStudio2015 and the BDM will repost pictures on its social media sites. Whoever posts the most creative photo using the hashtag by the end of the day (5:00pm) will win a prize.
