— There’s nothing like a trip to the Zoo to make everyone feel like kid! On July 28th, the Baltimore Zoo celebrates the wonder and excitement of childhood with “Everyone’s A Kid Day” — a day where all Zoo tickets are the price of child admission, $13.00. That’s $5 off regular adult admission of $18.00.

Take advantage of the offer and visit our the every-growing warthog piglets, the rambunctious goat kids that are now in the Goat Corral and spy the young sitatunga calf with his mother. The aviaries are full of birds and the mud wallow is full of rhinos! Ride a camel, feed a giraffe and talk to the keepers at our many keeper chats throughout the day, including our newest chat “Elephant Bath Time.” Ever wonder how the keepers wash behind the elephants ears? Now you can see it for yourself at 11:30 am every day (weather permitting.)

Founded in 1876, The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is the third oldest zoo in the United States and is internationally known for its contributions in conservation and research. More than 1,500 animals are represented in the Zoo’s varied natural habitat exhibits such as the brand new Penguin Coast, Polar Bear Watch, the Maryland Wilderness, African Journey and the award-winning Children’s Zoo. Situated in Druid Hill Park near downtown Baltimore, the Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums. For more information, visit www.marylandzoo.org.
