Kember: Kember is a British and African American artist born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He credits Michael Jackson and Prince as big musical influences. On his EP (Extended Play), “Love” the grooves are simply amazing and warm and you can hear how Michael Jackson influenced his style. Kenny Lattimore “Anatomy of a Love Song”: About a month ago, I had the honor of interviewing Kenny Lattimore about his single, “Love Me Back,” which marked his return to the music scene and his introduction to new fans.
“I had a chance to work with some incredible producers who provided me with some great material for my fans from the past but also engaged a younger audience without losing who I am,” Lattimore said.
Now I may be biased when it comes to Lattimore’s music but as a reviewer I can step back and see it from a music lover’s perspective. “Anatomy of a Love Song” is a classic— from beginning to end. I didn’t find one bad track!
The first single is a banger, but “Remix My Heart” is that song! Can we get a video? Lattimore does what he does best by delivering soulful love tracks like “Heart Stops,” “Look of Love,” and “Blood-Sweat-Tears.” In my mind, without question, this CD is very personal. Pick up your copy today.
