Before I leave you, I want to thank the hundreds of fans, friends and family for the prayers, good wishes and love they sent out on Facebook, emails and calls to my “Boo-Boo” (my husband, William “Shorty” Trusty) when he had thyroid surgery on Monday, May 8.
