BALTIMORE — The 38th season of the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar in now open on Sundays from 7 a.m. to sell out— approximately noon.
This year the Baltimore Farmers’ Market features new vendors including: Sexy Vegie; Midtown BBQ; Hex Ferments; Magnet Earth Gourmet; and Corazon Cakery, as well as a cooking demonstrations
In addition, the area’s best artisans and crafters sell unique, handmade items including weather accessories made from recycled cashmere and angora by Rags to Roses, and original artwork inspired by African American culture by Zion Journey Art.
Also throughout 2015, the market offers regular cooking demos from area chefs, music performances, increased seating and bike parking. Maryland’s largest producers-only market is open Sundays through December 20, 2015. Located on Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay streets, underneath the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX), the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar is produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.
Every week, shoppers can browse and purchase the freshest local produce, meats, dairy, spices, preserves, fresh baked breads and flowers, in addition to delicious meals prepared on the spot. Market-goers can visit the bazaar for handcrafted art from local artisans, unique collectibles, jewelry, vintage clothing, soaps & lotions and much more.
