— Hello everyone and Happy Holidays. Can you believe it? This is almost the end of the year. My goodness, where did time go? However, if you are reading my column, then you are blessed because you are above ground!

So many family members and friends have left us this year and gone on to a better place. The holidays can be very sad for some of us. I personally can understand that. I also know that we are still among the living and we must enjoy life to the fullest because tomorrow is not promised. So my friends, let’s enjoy!

Warren Wolf & the Wolf Pack Orkastra will perform at the Forest Park Senior Center, 4801 Liberty Heights Avenue on Sunday, December 7, from 4-8 p.m. Warren Wolf having released five critically acclaimed albums and as a multi-talented musician from Baltimore is known for his melodic and virtuosic playing. This should help bring the holiday spirit back into your life. This event is open to the public. Yours truly will be there with autographed books to give to that special someone as a gift. You will get to meet many of Baltimore’s celebrities. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Rosa Pryor Scholarship Fund; The African American Cultural Festival; and the New Africa Committee. Remember this is the State Office Building so make sure that you bring proper I.D., that is a MUST! I will see you there.
