BALTIMORE — The Reginald F. Lewis Museum rings in the 2014 holiday season with a special admission of $1 – $5 for an assortment of family fun events. Let Patti LaBelle in Santa Baby add soul to your holidays as you and your loved ones are invited to make a holiday craft on December 6 with the animated video as backdrop. The affordable family events continue on December 7. Enjoy the festive film A Christmas Journey to Freedom and enter a chance to win a roundtrip flight, courtesy of Southwest Airlines. The season culminates in the museum’s epic annual Kwanzaa celebration on Saturday, December 27 with a special admission of $5. All events at are at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, 830 E. On this exciting adventure for 70 minutes, travel back in time to follow a Christmas journey to freedom along the Underground Railroad. Join soloist Wintley Phipps, historian Dr. Allen Callahan, and actress Gwendolyn Briley-Strand as Harriet Tubman in this dramatic musical presentation that follows the true-life story of a slave named Joe (Wintley Phipps) and his journey to freedom. Along the way, discover how the humble birth of Jesus gives hope and freedom to all mankind. Dollar Day Weekend. Special admission $1.
