BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts invites organizations to be a part of the 15th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade presented by Forman Mills.
The parade celebrates the life of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 19, 2015 at noon. Eligible applicants include cheer and dance squads, college and high school bands, community bands, equestrian groups, floats, honor/color guards, military groups and civic/community organizations. Parade participants are encouraged to represent Dr. King’s message and legacy. The application deadline is Monday, December 8, 2014. An application can be found at www.promotionandarts.org.
The parade steps off at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Eutaw Street, proceeds south on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and disbands at Baltimore Street.
