One of the most underrated groups from the 80s and 90s, Full Force, is back with another smash CD called “With Love From Our Friends.” This CD features 15 of the hottest songs from beginning to end. What makes the CD so NICE, is the talent that contributed to this project, called “True Skool All-Star Project.”
If you don’t know who Full Force is, then let me tell you: They are responsible for making classic joints: “Temporary Love Thing,” “All In My Mind,” “Unselfish Lover,” “All Cried Out” featuring Lisa-Lisa & Cult Jam, and many others. They were also responsible for producing acts like Lisa-Lisa & Cult Jam, UTFO, James Brown, Rihanna, Backstreet Boys, The Godfather of Soul: James Brown and many others. By the way, do you remember House Party with Kid-n-Play? Yep, they were in that as well! The dudes are, well as they used to say: “IN THE PLACE TO BE”.
The boys have done it again with some great music! One thing about Full Force, they ALWAYS gave you those classic love songs and they continue with tracks like “Your Love Makes Me High” featuring Raphael Saadiq and Shanice. Tevin Campbell & Naturi Naughton have one called “Let It Flow.” The one the ladies are going to love features Lil G of Silk, Slim of 112, Steve Russell of Troop, and RL of Next called “All I Have To Give,” a song that was written and recorded by Backstreet Boys. THIS SONG, should be in every Quiet Storm format across the country!
For the Spoken Word heads, be on the lookout for “Do You Believe In Heaven” which features: Malcolm Jamal Warner, Blair Underwood, Omari Hardwick, Big Daddy Kane, and Najee! and finally a track entitled “Thank You For Leaving Me” with Vivica A. Fox, Mel’isa Morgan, and Cheryl Pepsii (Yes, Fellas, another woman’s anthem).
Full Force has put so much heart and soul into this project that there is not enough space to share all the GREAT music from the CD. There is something for everyone, believe that. Other acts include: Howard Hewitt, Flavor Flav, Tisha Campbell Martin, Faith Evans, Sheila E, and many, many, many more! Love these dudes! Pick up the CD when it hits stores on August 26th.
