Ray Davis and Jay Manor, the owners of 2110 Bistro located at 2110 N. Charles Street in Charles Village are business owners and community activists on a mission to prove black men can be positive role models. “Not only did we plan on opening a nice intimate restaurant, we also wanted to do something for the community, especially for the Charles Village area,” said Jay Manor.
During the restaurant’s first year in business Ray and Jay have sponsored community events including a turkey giveaway around the holidays and book bag giveaways for school children.
“People think that all black men are crooked or up to no good, but that is not the case. We want to improve the community and be a part of change. We love what we do and we want people to come eat some great food and really enjoy themselves.
2110 Bistro has a great selection of food including traditional, vegetarian and Halal dishes. 2110 Bistro also supports local artists by hosting spoken word, jazz, and art shows.
