This week’s entrepreneur of the week is musician Rahmlee Michael Davis. The Baltimore resident has spent the last four decades working with the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire, Phil Collins, The Jacksons, Tyrone Davis, Frida (of ABBA), Jackie Wilson, The Whispers, Michael Jackson and countless others. His upcoming Mother’s Day show and recent CD release prove he’s still making things happen in the music world.
The very humble musician has done a lot through his career and still has a lot more to do as well as share. “I would love to sit down with the local artist here in the area and teach them about music and about being professional and understanding the business” said Davis. As an original member of the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire horn section, known as “The Phenix Horns Esquire,” Rahmlee has a lot to share with those aspiring to make a living as a musician.
“You have to know your past and not be afraid of the future. I am willing to work with all as long as [they] are about business. I love what I do and want to continue to experiment, perform and [put] out good music,” Rahmlee said. “
