Healthy Anne Arundel Month (April 2014), sponsored by the Healthy Anne Arundel Coalition, is a special time to motivate Anne Arundel County residents to take steps toward better health. Through community collaborations, a variety of events will be implemented in April to bring awareness to the Coalition’s priority areas— obesity prevention and the management of substance abuse and mental health as co-occurring disorders.
The kickoff ceremony for the first Healthy Anne Arundel Month will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Anne Arundel County Farmers’ Market located at Riva Road and Harry S. Truman Parkway in Annapolis.
