Unfortunately, I didn’t get the word before press deadline for an event that was on television this past Sunday, but hopefully you can still check it out. I am talking about the 50th Anniversary of the groundbreaking gospel TV show called, “Jubilee Showcase,” which first aired in Baltimore on PBS. I watched it on Maryland Public Television (MPT) and it was awesome! It reminded of the days of my parents & grandparents when gospel music was fun, spiritual and heartwarming. It will remind you of a time when the preacher only put the icing on the cake when he walked into the pulpit, because the music already had you hearing God’s word through song. The quartets, the choirs and the B-3 organist with the old time down-home, stomping your feet, shouting down the aisle music just gave you a special feeling back in the day. Saying all of that, this is what you will see and hear when you tune in this month to “Jubilee Showcase” on MPT this month.

Well, my dear friends, I am out of space, enjoy the pictures and act on the information and support the community! Remember if you need me, call me at 410-833-9474 or email me at rosapryor@aol.com. Please visit my new website: www.rambling-rose.com. UNTIL THE NEXT TIME, I’M MUSICALLY YOURS.
