— Artscape, America’s largest free arts festival takes place Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mount Royal Avenue and North Charles Street in Baltimore.

The theme for Artscape 2013 is international, highlighting the No Passport Required: A Cross Cultural Arts Experience installation on North Charles Street. Throughout the festival’s offerings of visual and performing arts, more than 30 countries are celebrated, including Afghanistan, China, Germany, India, Jamaica, Mexico, the United States of America and Zimbabwe. America’s largest free arts festival features live music of various genres on four outdoor stages, a full schedule of theater, dance and opera performances, in addition to classical, folk and experimental music, street theater, fine art and crafts from more than 135 artisans in the Artists’ Market, world famous art cars, the Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize Semi-finalists Exhibition, film, children’s activities, exhibitors and an assortment of food and beverages.
