— On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, Macy’s colleagues spruced up Old Ellicott City with clean up, beautification, and presented a $39,347.01 check to Ellicott City Partnership with funds raised by Maryland stores and customers through a local round-up campaign.

Macy’s has been committed to supporting those who have been affected by the Ellicott City flood that devastated the community this summer. Colleagues spent the morning painting, washing windows, cleaning ledges and various other projects that support the business owners in reclaiming their livelihoods.

The Ellicott City Partnership is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the heritage and vitality of historic Ellicott City, Maryland while enhancing and creating economic growth. The ECP continues to support Old Ellicott City businesses, residents, and property owners through education opportunities, providing resources and marketing, plus partnerships with Howard County Government agencies.
