BALTIMORE,Md. — The Orioles today unveiled a first look at the BUCK SHOWALTER Garden Gnome, slated for distribution to the first 25,000 fans 15 and over at Oriole Park on Saturday, June 27, when the Orioles host the Cleveland Indians at 7:15 p.m. ET.
Over the past week, several fans won autographed gnomes and tickets to the June 27 game by using #SHOWtheGnome on social media platforms as the gnome visited various locations around Baltimore. A gallery of the images is available at www.orioles.com/SHOWtheGnome.
In his sixth season as manager of the Orioles, Showalter recently won his third Manager of the Year award (1994, 2004, 2014). He is also two wins shy of tying Whitey Herzog for 35th on the all-time managerial wins list.
