Hello my dear friends, by the time you read this, my Boo-Boo and I will be still on our vacation getting some much overdue R&R, but I haven’t forgotten you. I want you to check out the entertainment this weekend and at the same time, get ready to give thanks for all you have.

Next week is Thanksgiving, which is also my birthday and it is very important that we remember the folks that has less than we have. Share your food, check out the homeless, give blankets, warm clothes and food to those who are less fortunate, God will bless you and you will feel good about yourself too.

This week, I want to spotlight Marcus Mitchell, a young saxophonist who promoter Bilal Ali will present on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Best Western Ballroom on Belmont Avenue. I read up on Marcus and was very impressed to learn that he is not only a dynamite saxophonist, but he is also the CEO and president of “24th Music,” a division of MHM Entertainment Group which is based in Maryland. I understand that he is the youngest independent executive on the voting committee for the Grammy Awards. He is also about to release his latest CD entitled “R&R-Rest & Relaxation.” He is a musician you need to keep an eye on. Check out his show on Saturday and tell me what you think.
