No matter what the weather may be, it is always party time. Starting out with Baltimore’s own “Big Daddy” Stallings & the Bluez Evolution Band who will be performing at the Taste of Bethesda at Woodmont Triangle on the Auburn Avenue Stage in Bethesda, Maryland on Saturday, October 11. The outdoor event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is known for their famous food and music. The festival includes 60 restaurants and five stages of entertainment in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle. Each year, more than 40,000 attendees sample the delicious restaurants and enjoy the live entertainment. The event is held along Norfolk, St. Elmo, Cordell, Del Ray and Auburn Avenues in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle just three blocks from the Bethesda’s Metro. Admission is free!

Caton Castle, located at 20 South Caton Avenue off of Hilton is hosting “Happy Birthday Art Blakey,” a jazz tribute to Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers on Saturday, October 11, 2014 featuring John Lamkin, III on drums; Tom Williams on trumpet; Lyle Link on tenor sax; Marshall Keys on alto sax Warren Wolf on piano and Kris Funn on bass.
