Art with a Heart, Inc. will present “Home is Where the HeART”– a creative casual fundraising event, Saturday, October 11, from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., at the Castle at Keswick located at 3355 Keswick Road in Hampden.
Over 300 guests are expected for the celebration, which will feature Fall-themed food stations and cocktails from Zeffert & Gold Catering.
Adding to the fun will be a silent auction and Chinese Raffle with such items as a week’s stay in Sedona, Arizona, a lunch with Congressman Elijah Cummings, four Disney Park Hopper passes, and various dining, entertainment, travel and sports packages.
Also up for bid will be one-of-a-kind ducks (including Duck Showalter, Jackson Pollduck and Duck of the Irish) decorated in various artistic mediums by local artists and Art with a Heart teachers and volunteers.
Additionally, guests can participate in the creation of a community art project and shop for unique artwork, jewelry, house ware items, garden ornaments and assorted gifts handmade by Art with a Heart students and volunteers. All proceeds from the event will subsidize Art with a Heart’s direct programming costs.
“Art with a Heart turned 14 years old this past March and is delighted to be a creative, consistent and positive presence in the Baltimore community,” says Founder/Executive Director Randi Alper Pupkin. “Home is Where the HeArt is helps us to continue to provide educational, creative and inspirational programs for the City’s vulnerable children, youth and adults.”
Individual tickets are $100/person in advance and $125 at the door. Corporate and individual sponsorships are also available. For tickets or sponsorship information, call 410-366-8886 or visit www.artwithaheart.net.
