Every once in awhile Indie Soul will get an email asking when we’re going to show some love to fashion designers and models. Well you asked, and now here it is. On Saturday, July 26th, if you were not around the downtown Baltimore area, then you missed some hot fashion and models!

Fab@TheHarbor is a unique shopping experience featuring fashion and art. “The emerging industry standard fashion is striving for creativity here in Baltimore. There are some amazingly talented designers coming into their own and they need a platform to be able to showcase their talent. We need to support and keep that talent here in Baltimore,” said co-founder and host of Saturday’s event, Caprece Jackson-Garrett.
The event came together from an earlier collaboration with partner Kellie Easton called Fashion Night Out. According to Easton, “The Fashion Night Out event showed us that there was a real interest in bringing the fashion world locally together with those who wanted to network and bring real exposure to the talent here in Baltimore. Having these events will help drive the economy in Baltimore and provide not only our designers, but the incredible models that live in the area, a chance to be seen. None of this would be made possible with the cooperation of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.”
If you missed the first event there’s another one August 30, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the corner of Charles and Light Streets in downtown Baltimore. The event is free and all are welcome to attend. Please come and support our local artists and designers. If you are interested in being a part of this event email: info@wearitoutbaltimore.com.
