There is still time to get involved with Bello Machre’s Every Step Counts – a family-walk and bike event scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. All proceeds will benefit people with developmental disabilities served by Bello Machre. Don’t miss this event that won What’s Up Magazines Best of Annapolis 2013 for Best Local Nonprofit Event.

This family-friendly event will feature fun festivities including a moon bounce and games, live music by Medora, a clown with face painting and balloon art, raffles, and complimentary food and beverages. The event also promotes education and awareness about people with developmental disabilities who live and work within the community.

Every Step Counts will assemble hundreds of walkers and bikers at Anne Arundel Community College, with a goal to raise over $125,000. Tracy Lynott, Development Director commented, “We want Every Step Counts to be a truly big event – a big event in the hearts and homes of people who depend upon Bello Machre.”

Each walker and biker will raise money by asking friends, family, and business associates to sponsor their participation – either by walking a one-mile route or biking a five-mile route.
