Hello everyone! How are you? This is Mother’s Day weekend and for those of you who are blessed to still have your mothers, celebrate with her and show her that you love her. If your mother is in a nursing home, hospital or in a senior citizen home, please go visit her and take some flowers and your smile. Tell her you love her.
I can’t imagine having to bury my mother on Mother’s Day weekend as the daughter and family of Garnetta Reese who passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 will have to. Her viewing will be held on Sunday, May 11 at Vaughn Green Funeral Home on Baltimore National Parkway and her services on Monday, May 12 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernadine Catholic Church located at 3812 Edmondson Avenue.

Garnetta Reese, a friend to many and a very special friend to me, former member of the Rosa Pryor Music Scholarship Fund, Inc. and a member of the “Wives of the Firefighters” passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 after a long illness. Please keep her daughter Kimmie and family in your prayers.
