This week’s entrepreneur wears many hats and finally all her hard work is paying off! It was just announced that Chere Cofield has been named Ms. Owings Mills of Corporate America for the 2014 calendar year.
Chere Cofield authored a book entitled “The Crash That Altered My Life.” The self-help book is designed to get people through stressful times. “This book is designed to encourage and motivate anyone who has gone through stressful times in life and found that inner strength to endure,” says Cofield. She continues “It will give you a glimpse of my personal struggles, the enormous amount of stress I was under, and the techniques I used to effectively manage my stress. This book will assist you in effectively identifying signs of stress as well as the effects stress can have on your body.”
Cofield is also responsible for the “Let’s Get Serious About Health” Expo now in its fifth year. “I am really happy and excited about this event. I want people to come exercise, get their blood pressure checked, and ask to see how they can better take care of not only themselves but their families as well,” she says.
The event is free and open to the public. It takes place Saturday, May 5, 2014 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Inn at the Colonnade in Baltimore.
