— Hello everyone, I hope everything is well on your end. We have a lot going on this week and next weekend. The highlight as far as I am concerned is my birthday, which is November 27 and then Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 28.

Milton A. Dugger, Jr., the Baltimore Baron of Rhythm & Blues invites you to celebrate his 50th year in the entertainment business, Saturday, November 30, 6-11 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church Hall, 5500 York Road in Baltimore. The Arena Players presents a dynamic play called, “Waiting to be Invited” on Sunday, December 1 at 4 p.m. Set in 1960’s Atlanta, the play is about the courage of four African American women who go to a “whites only” department store to have lunch just after the Supreme Court ruled segregated eating establishments unconstitutional. This event is sponsored by the Julian Branch of The Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH). The president is Dr. Thomas H. De Laine, Sr. The play is directed by Amini Johari Courts.
